We are excited to share Littleton Area Seniors and Friends-GCSCC has approached us & would love to have a hands-on flower experience for our community seniors to celebrate Valentine’s Day!
We need YOUR help! When we don’t have our own homegrown fresh flowers, we order in, and during valentine’s season, we really want to make this event possible. We are asking community to come together to share some love with our seniors in purchasing a bundle of flowers that each participant will use to create a small bud vase of their own to take home! After speaking with Amy, director at the center, this is a well-sought activity and the hope is to get enough bundles for 40 seniors to participate!
There are immense benefits to being in the presence of fresh flowers, and our cherished seniors deserve that access to beauty just like anyone else! Pantry Posies will show up, demonstrate arranging a fresh piece to be donated to the senior center’s welcome desk and provide glassware and gentle instruction to the participants as they create their own design. What we need from you is support in purchasing the flowers to make this possible! Even the purchase of one bundle makes a difference and if you’re feeling extra generous, we are accepting multiple contributions, just click the drop-down and choose how many seniors you’d like to support and we will do the rest!
